The plot:

Indistinguishable, we are him and me. Two souls corrupted by hate and splintered by love.

Daniel Myers is an unscrupulous 21-year-old with a fear of bonding. He hates relationships and anything that can make him vulnerable. Ever since Candice, the girl he has always been in love with, used him to make another jealous by breaking his heart into a thousand pieces, there is no more room for emotion in his life. Then he gets to know Aurora James better, the daughter of longtime friends of her parents, the most stubborn, proud and stubborn 18-year-old towards love he has ever met. And here something happens: their very distant worlds inevitably attract each other until they collide, and they find themselves catapulted into an unexplored space where hate and love, disenchantment and amazement, dreams and reality coexist. From that moment on, nothing will ever be the same.

This hate-to-love romance tells the story of Aurora and Daniel, her best friend Leah's brother. If on the one hand we have Aurora, an eighteen year old who dreams the happy ending, the "happily ever after"; on the other side there's Daniel, a boy descrived as "a devil in the body of an angel". The two, from the beginning can't stand each other, so much that every time they argue there's always Leah to sepaarte them. From Halloween night, however, everything will change. After spending the night together, the two are no longer able to stay away from each other, despite trying to forget each other. From that moment on, everything and more happens between the two of them: Leah tries to approach them, while they resist (in vain), until they yeld. From now on I let you discover how the love story between the two protagonists ends.

Debora Ferraiuolo, with her simple and fluent writing, makes it easy to read this book, so much so that once you start it, you can no longer tear yourself away, until it's finished. The Daniel and Aurora's story is turbolent, full of emotions and unspoken feelings; of "I hate you! I love you too" and plot twists. If yuo're wondering what's the thing that most upset me was undoubtedly the trasformation of Daniel, from an insensitive, who no longer believes and hates love; to a sweet and romantic man, who would live only to make happy Aurora.
