The plot:

I like strange things, normality is boring.
When Gia Montgomery's boyfriend, Bradley, dumps her in the parking lot of her high school prom, she decides to do the unthinkable…convince the cute guy waiting to pick up his sister to pretend to be her boyfriend for the night. The task is simple: two hours, zero commitment, a few white lies.
The problem is that days after prom, she can't stop thinking about her fill-in boyfriend. But can Gia turn her fake boyfriend into a real one without exposing her lie and possibly destroying her friendships and her newfound relationship?
Smartly observed and wonderfully romantic, Kasie West's talent shines in this tale of one girl's unexpected quest to find love…and possibly herself.
A completely random meeting in the school parking, on prom night, after Bradley dumped her, turned Gia's life upside down. It all started with "You will be my knight", without even knowing the guy or his name. Gia, in debt to the boy, saw Hayden for the first time after the prom to accompany him to an event held by his ex-girlifriend. A relationship began by pure chance and in friendship whic, then over time, turned into love, which encountered many obstacles. At the same time Gia has also changed, a typical high school girl who, at first, only thinks about popularity, social media and appareances; while she over time realizes (also thanks to a short film by her brother) that is more satisfying t focus on the closest people rather than trying to be friendswith everyone.
The fill-in boyfriend is a light, funny storythat tells the story of a typical teenager, immersed in drama and problems that seem like the end of the world; she is torn beetween wanting to be herself and wanting to be accepted by her friends. At the end realizes that she can't diveide the two and choose th eone that makes herself better.
